ANIMATED MUSICAL ADVENTURE
“CLOUDED” is an animated musical adventure about a girl who longs to see the world above the clouds, and how a boy who calls the sky his home will help unite their people after centuries apart.
However their friendship awakens the last Griffin, Thora, who remembers the hatred and corruption humans brought to her home, and will do everything in her power to make sure that humans never step foot in the skies again. Set against the backdrop of folkloric Iceland, our heroine Klara leads her friends on an adventure of forgiveness, change, and finding similarities amongst the starkest of differences.
Clouded is about acceptance, forgiveness, and surpassing the limits that others create based on appearance.

EMIL
An inquisitive young boy from the Cloud Kingdom, Emil doesn’t share the hatred of humans that his village has. Light-hearted and a little goofy, he wants to see the human world, and creates stories in the sky through images.
HILMAR
For someone whose name means “notorious fighter”, it couldn’t be less fitting for our Hilmar. Sensitive, and afraid of confrontation, Hilmar feels he is most at home with a good book, a good cry, and absolutely no violence, thank you very much.
ROLF
Emil’s childhood best friend, and an infamous eye roller, Rolf is a grumpy little dog who wishes his days consisted of nothing but snacking and snoozing. He begrudgingly joins Emil on his adventures.
TOBI
Abandoned by his family as a baby, Tobi was rescued by Klara, and has been glued to her side ever since, becoming her fiercely loyal sidekick. As a Puffin who can’t fly, Tobi doesn’t fit in with his fellow bird companions. He longs for his wings to work, and to have a family of his own one day.
SUNNY
Sunniva small and spunky, Sunny has never let her size stop her. With her feisty nature and go-get-em attitude, Sunny is one of the toughest Dragons in the East, and she’s determined to prove it.
THORA
The last remaining Griffin of the North, Thora is bitter and jaded, refusing to forget the horror the humans brought to her kind many years ago. As creator of the Cloud Kingdom, Vispiria, she vows to never let a human in her dominion again.

All these creatures lived in harmony with humans, until greed grew too great. The humans attacked the protectors’ lands, pillaging, taking it for their own, slaughtering all who got in their way. While battling in the skies, Thora, last Griffin left, knew she had to put a stop to this. Using all of her power, she banished the humans to the earth floor, and created a thick barrier of magic clouds to hide her world, shrouding the earth in shadow, and ensuring no human would ever reach it again.
Building a new nation of keepers from the clouds, she tasked them with replenishing the land, and barring any human from entering. But no human ever did, and in time, they soon forgot their true history, and came to accept that the sky was simply a forbidden place, bound to bring certain doom and destruction.
